The fitness industry’s first-ever cable resistance experience was nominated for 4 Engadget awards: Best Startup, Best Digital Health and Fitness Product, Best Sports Tech, and People’s Choice, respectively.

Industry experts and Black Box VR creators, Ryan DeLuca and Preston Lewis, are honored to take first place for Best Startup Award on January 11th in Las Vegas. The Boise, Idaho startup was among tough competition that stretched across 18 tech categories, 4,000 companies, and 600 startups at the 50th anniversary of CES.

This week is turning out to be more than 4 days of building lasting connections with other tech companies. Black Box VR was also honored to receive CES 2018’s Innovation Award for their responsive strength training equipment and gamified VR fitness experience.  

Being recognized for their commitment to health and fitness is exciting and invigorating news for Black Box VR. Receiving two awards, Engadget’s Best Startup Award and CES’ Innovation Award, is an industry honor.
