Nemesis Realms

Become a fire-spitting raid boss dragon that’s trying to defeat friends who are trying to defeat you with controllers. Take turns as one of the 3 beastly bosses or become the hero who destroys the super big purple nemesis.

Fitness Potential

Nemesis Realms is an early access VR game that can be played online in multiplayer mode if you want to play with random gamers online or start a local party with friends. Playing the boss role is the only physical part of this game. The upper body will get the majority of the action as the player takes on the role of the monster boss, wildly blasting fire or using strength abilities to defeat other players.

If you like VR games that also use upper body strength try playing: Rage Room or Gorn.

Realshot is a first-person shooter and early access VR game that hosts singleplayer, multiplayer, and co-op games. You’ll be collecting weapons and shooting AI and real-life players for loot value. Gather up in-game currency to get the best automatic rifles and weaponry.

Fitness Potential

Playing against other Realshot players online is going to give you a good workout because you’ll be immersed in figuring out what their next move is and where you’ll be sneaking up on them. Hiding behind structures and maneuvering kill shots will work your legs while holding a virtual gun for long periods of time is going to activate the upper body. Wearing a weighted vest will turn the heat up during competition.

Inferno: Deathfield

Credit to: Framing Inc./YJM GAMES

This is an early access single player, action adventure, and role-playing combat game that reminds me of Dark Souls. You’ll be fighting challenging demonic beasts and other unpleasant demon-warriors to save humanity from being taken to the Underworld with Lucifer and his ilk. Close the gates of hell, it’s getting hot in here.

Fitness Potential

Taking on Necromancers and Airdemons with melee weapons like swords and ranged weapons like crossbows in Infinity Mode is going to give you the best workout. With no clock ticking away, you’ll be free to slice through The Fallens and Phlegyas until you can’t take anymore, or other players online as you slow down time (like Superhot and Killing Floor) to attack or dodge.

Do you like battling demons or slowing down time in VR? Try out these combat games: Demon Blade and Killing Floor: Incursion.

Battle for Mountain Throne

Credit to: Random Bird games

Dungeon dwelling Goblins and cave lurking bad guys are fighting Dwarves (you) for your rights to Mountain Kingdom and the Mountain Throne. You’ll be going up against waves of enemy combatants and using weapons like a battle ax, shield, and warhammer, along with a gun and bombs.

Fitness Potential

Using the warhammer or ax to fight is going to give you the best upper body workout from swinging and mid-body conditioning when you tighten the abdominal muscles during those attacks. Playing against the timer can help you gauge how hard you need to rip into those uggo Goblins. Having an endless mode would be great for long play and fitness.
