Beat Saber Challenge
What is it?
Beat Saber is a VR rhythm game where you slash the beats of adrenaline-pumping music as they fly towards you, surrounded by a futuristic world.
How does it work?
We have held 5 days of heats.
Only the best two have gone forward to the Champion of Champion Finals Night.
EsporespoThe Grand Final will be held on the Main Stage at River Church Elgin. If you are one of the two Champions from your heat you will be awarded two free tickets. Tickets will be available for the final through Eventbrite at a cost of £10 each, which will include refreshments.
Prizes:
Champion of Champions – VIP Pass for 10 free activities in the VR Studio, plus officially ‘Cutting The Ribbon’ to open the VR Studio.
Second Place – VIP Pass for 5 free activities in the VR Studio.
Third Place – Complimentary Meal for two in the Noodle Bar
What’s this in aid of?
As you know we’re working towards creating a centre in the heart of the community where we build and fix, while you play and learn.
We’re very excited about this project, and we don’t underestimate how big an undertaking it is. Our initial costings are around the half million pound mark. We will be hosting a variety of events to help raise money towards the Amazing Technology Centre, of which this Beat Saber Challenge is the beginning.
Can I just turn up to one of the days?
You are welcome to come along and watch, but there are no guarantees of gaining a playing place if you haven’t pre-booked.
